Adelaide, Australia

Flowing forms characterize the gleaming gold façade of the SkyCity building in Adelaide. It houses the exclusively outfitted boutique five-star hotel EOS, which offers luxury at the highest possible level.

The undulating SkyCity building is sculptural and impressive, perfectly blending into Adelaide's Riverbank district. The iconic quarter is being upgraded with comprehensive revitalization measures designed to make Adelaide one of the most attractive cities not only in South Australia – but worldwide.

Grandeur and modern design

The SkyCity building, designed by Buchan Architects, is an architectural jewel: with its golden, organically curved façade of gleaming glass panels, it is an expression of contemporary elegance and dynamism. It is situated next to the historic Adelaide Railway Station building, connected to it by a glass atrium. The stylish atrium floods the rooms with light and makes the station's impressive north façade shine.

Exclusive interior

Alongside the luxurious EOS five-star hotel, the SkyCity building houses a casino, function rooms, restaurants and cafés as well as a rooftop bar. High-quality natural materials, such as stone, wood, leather and metal, characterize the noble interior. The cleverly positioned lighting sets off the decorative wall and ceiling ornaments just as atmospherically as the selection of high-quality furniture. One hundred of the hotel’s suites are furnished with our Foster 525 chair, designed by architect Norman Foster. The armchair is an elegant accent in dark blue in the spacious rooms.

A new generation of luxury

With its timeless look and exclusive materials, the SkyCity building, the interior of which was created by architects Walter Brooke and Hecker Guthrie, brings a new generation of luxury to Adelaide. In the spacious, glamorous lobby, located on the conference level, our 369 crmchair is set up to form numerous seating clusters. In the banquet area that host functions and events for up to 600 people, visitors enjoy the view of the park and Lake Torrens while sitting comfortably on our Jason Lite chairs. The classic, timeless design of the chairs lends the banquet area a calm, stylish atmosphere.

Characteristic and symbolic

For the elegant conference rooms, the architect chose our Turtle chairs, which are pleasantly easy to swivel. With their straight and elegantly sweeping lines, they exude a sense of timeless harmony that makes the conference rooms stylish and comfortable. In Adelaide, the iconic SkyCity makes a prestigious impression and is instantly recognizable. As a symbol for the city, the building reflects the meandering river landscape on its doorstep. Inside, it combines clarity with excellent design that enhances the quality of the time a visitor spends there, as well as their well-being.
